If you are a person looking for work, simply click the ‘Join Now as a Jobseeker’ button below, enter your details on the login page, start searching and applying for jobs! Make sure your online resume stands out by adding as much detail as possible.

If you are a business or employer, simply click the “Join Now as a Business” button below. Here you can make a profile on the Seafood Directory and search the online Jobseeker Register.

To sign up, you need to create a username and password. This gives you access to your account and profile. That’s it!

No. Anyone can apply for a job listed on the Job Listing page. However, if you wish to be visible on the Jobseeker Register (reccommeded), then you need to sign up. Once signed up, you can create your online resume and apply for as many jobs as you wish with your online resume. Employers are searching daily for people who meet their needs on the Jobseeker Register.

Please go to the privacy settings in your Account page, and set your profile to ‘Private’- so that you no longer show up on the Jobseeker Register, and employers don’t get frustrated trying to contact you! You can still use the Seafood Jobs site and keep your full profile. An email will be sent to you every 2 months asking if you still wish to be on the register, just to check where you are at.

Yes they can. However we have an option for you to make your profile private (no one can see it) if you wish. This means that employers cannot see you, but you can still apply for jobs. Go to My Account -> Privacy

Yes. However employers will need to know that you have the required visas and are ready to work in Australia.

Jobseekers are able to select when they are visible on the register. They are also sent an email every 6 weeks asking them if they still want to be on it. After 2 months, any non-responsive registrants are taken off the register.

Every employer has individual needs for their recruitment process. We recommend you try both methods 1. post a job and 2. pull candidates from the Jobseeker Register. Figure out which way works for you and for the position you are trying to fill.

If you posted a job listing, please take it down by marking the job as filled on your ‘Manage Jobs’ page. Alternatively you can select to delete the post.

If you set a closing date on the advertisement, the job will automatically de-list after the closing date.

The Seafood Directory is a place for you to showcase your business. It can serve two purposes:

1. Potential employees might want to know more about you.

2. Members of the public might want to know more about you and your services. They can search for seafood suppliers and contacts through the directory.

All listings on the Seafood Directory come up on google searches.
